Consult.

It all begins with the facts of your case. With thirty years of experience, I have directly illustrated many hundreds of medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Depending on your needs, I may ask for operative reports, radiology, and other medical records to accurately and with impact, illustrate the facts of your case.  Based on my review of the current medical literature, and your specific needs, I will provide a complimentary proposal of illustrations and estimate of fees along with a comprehensive written visual analysis.

Preliminary sketches.

Once we agree on the visual strategy for your demonstrative evidence, I will develop preliminary sketches for your review. The sketches will be consistent with the medical record and will be of the highest accuracy. You, the treating physicians, and your experts will have every opportunity to modify the illustrations and labeling until it is the best means of expressing their testimony, and telling your client’s story.

Make your case.

When the preliminary sketches and text are approved by your team, the medical illustrations are put in their final form. Medical illustration is used in Settlement discussions, Mediation, Deposition, Pretrial exchange, and of course during Trial. Your final images can be produced in digital form for projection or laptop viewing, or printed on enlarged panels and small prints. Whatever the final format needed, the way you show your story can make all the difference. Call me to show it accurately, clearly, and get the result you seek.
